About Me
My name is David Kean and I'm a software developer at Microsoft in Redmond. There I work on the Managed Extensibility Framework (MEF); a set of building blocks that includes dependency injection, a naming and activation service and duck typing for developing extensible and dynamic applications. My team also owns the Framework Design Guidelines.
Previously I worked on the Visual Studio Code Analysis team, owning the often well-loved but also greatly-misunderstood tool, FxCop.
Originating from Melbourne, Australia, I now live in Seattle, Washington, with my wife Lucy and two kids Jack (4) and Sarah (8 months).
